Marv Combs

Pastor Marv and Linda Combs have been married 35 years and have two adult sons. He is a native Southern California guy as well as a son of Grace Lutheran. He was called out of Grace to follow the calling to ordained ministry. Pastor Marv holds a B.S from Biola University and M.A. Theology from Concordia University, Irvine. After many years of serving the Pacifica Synod of the ELCA and now as Dean of the Southwest Pacific Mission District of the North American Lutheran Church, and pastor for various local congregations, Pastor Marv now serves Grace as the Pastor for Congregational Care. His passion is disciple making through mentoring, educating, and sending God’s people into the world. When his busy schedule allows, Pastor Marv can be found fishing in our local waters searching for the catch of a lifetime.
